RC Car

harder than I expected

All of 2019

My oldest son asked for an RC car for Christmas. I did what any loving parent would do; I impersonated a man named Santa and through this stolen identity gifted to Isaac a 20 page instruction set on how to build your own RC car. After hundreds of hours of 3D printing and re-printing, countless failed attempts at making our own gears from every type of plastic yet discovered, breaking nearly every part at least once, we finally finished building it, 19 months later. It was a struggle for sure, certainly more difficult than I expected, but fortunately such things always come with a certain satisfaction and life experience that can't be bought.
